Mark, 54 “All my clothes are designed and made by hand by me. My kiltie trainers are from Vivienne Westwood, and my shopper tote is from the Farmers Market. Boris Vian, Luis Bunuel, James Rosenquist, James Lovelock and Josef Albers make me think so I can be inspired. Skyscrapers and the New York City skyline are my current and lasting favorites.” Jan 10, 2018 ∙ Union Square

Jeanise, 38 “I’m wearing a kimono by Kenzo, underneath a blue faux fur from Free People, a knit sweater by Sparkle Princess, jeans by Vivienne Westwood, a tiger wrap by FLAT, a head wrap by Vivienne Westwood, a beret by Le Béret Français, and shoes by MM6. Jim Henson is one of my greatest inspirations – he was a genius with proportion. My fav colors at the moment are blue, the color of communication, and green, the color of love.” Dec 27, 2017 ∙ West Village

Kaley, 23 ‘All the pieces I am wearing are thrifted, sans Tokyo Bopper boots and a Bjork pin. I mostly hope to exude an aura of “Yakuza boss picking flowers”. I enjoy matching with Chinese supermarkets and KTV rooms.” Dec 21, 2017 ∙ Union Square

Mandy, 22 “I’m wearing a jacket by LIMI feu, trousers by Comme des Garçon, and a sweater by J.W.Anderson x Uniqlo. My style is inspired by 70s and 80s fashion, disco, hippy, oriental. My current favorites are Walter Van Beirendonck, Rei Kawakubo, Leigh Bowery, Martine Rose.” Dec 6, 2017 ∙ East Village

Melanie, 24 “I’m wearing a Nordstrom coat, Unif boots and a two piece vintage suit. My style is inspired by late 70’s and 90’s. I take almost all my inspiration from films and my grandparent’s wardrobes and I really love a good vintage piece. My current favorites: Celine, John Lawrence Sullivan, Off-White, Marni. All shades of green, brown and purple. I’m obsessed with coordinate/2 piece outfits, shoulder pad jackets and print shirts.” Dec 6, 2017 ∙ Union Square

Bobby, 21 “I’m wearing a hat by Balenciaga, a vintage Interstate leather jacket from Search and Destroy, vintage jeans, Vetements socks and Fila shoes. I’m inspired by diversity and my mother. She is a business woman so her style is always formal yet so beautiful and elegant. When I arrived in New York and saw it’s diversity, I also wanted to be a different person every day, and experiment with different styles. I love Gucci, Balenciaga, Vetements, 80’s, 70’s, and the colors yellow, green and purple.” Dec 14, 2017 ∙ Gramercy

Ahmed, 30 “I’m head to toe vintage. I love Comme des Garçons and Haider Ackermann.” Nov 21, 2017 ∙ Union Square

Hayden, 22 “I’m wearing a fringe belt from Dsquared2, a fur embellished top, a vintage top hat from Cobblestones Vintage, a Hood By Air panel black denim, a bag from MCM Worldwide, and sunglasses from a random street vendor. My style is driven from the place I was raised in – a conservative small town in Georgia. I was always told I could not wear anything exciting or unique to the way I currently express myself because it was not appropriate or conservative. It made me really find myself personally and tune that to be refined in my current style. My favorite style icons would be Leandra from Man Repeller and Bryan Boy.” Nov 3, 2017 ∙ Astor Place

Tziporah, 67 “I am wearing a vintage jacket, a vintage fur capelet, a vintage hat from late 1800’s, and a Dries Van Noten shawl to keep me warm. My style is inspired by art, movies, flowers, Persian miniatures, Charlie Chaplin, the films of Sergei Paradjonov, and Henri Matisse. My style is arty, eclectic, dramatic, playful.” Nov 1, 2017 ∙ Union Square

Skye, 19 “I’m wearing a super expired HBA a shirt and 70s pants. I’m inspired by greasers/ bikers from the 60’s, also rockstars Iggy Pop, David Bowie, Johnny Rotten, also fashion from 80’s euro-erotica. My favorite thing is to spike my hair into devil horns, but in terms of designers I am following, my favorite is Charles Jeffrey.” Oct 26, 2017 ∙ Greenwich Village
